Opinions don't matter
Its only an afterthought
Till the Catharsis ends.
What is the hubris?
Question to be pondered.
There he stood bewildered.
An intellectual he was,
Amidst the white noise of superificiality.
Putting caution to the wind he walked free.
Only to be held by the chains of others.
A certain social standard he had to endure.
A puppet he had become to the whims of his masters.
He sought the anguish,
To slowly languish,
In this ireverrent world where he was lost.
Gone were the days when he ruled his destiny,
Gone were the days what he said were golden,
Gone were the days what he felt was known.
He hides behind the mask he adorns,
Laughing inside at the pettiness of his masters and the world.
Not caring anymore for anything,
As the only thing he cared no longer existed.
He was complete with her with content.
He was content with her with bliss.
He was blessed with her with enlightenement.
He was her end and she was his start.
They bridled together in open in this world.
Only for the saboteurs to rip them apart,
In the name of money and power.
They left him with open wounds,
That wreathed his soul.
She ended when she knew there was no hope.
Only for him to remember the vow he made,
"You live life till I beckon you.
Carry on forward without seeking revenge.
Cause the Love we shared will give you peace."
And beheld that vow made,
His masters had him in chain ^
but not his soul,
His anguish was his joy
The hubris in all this was the love
he had for her till the cathartic end.
Its only an afterthought
