Thuligal en mel sindha,
Porattam ondru thodangiyathu.
Vizhigal ennai parka,
Idhayam irendu edam mariyathu.
Oviyangal ennai varnika,
Vekkam indru parandhu ponathu.
Kavidhaigal ennai uraika,
Varigalum Nooru thondriyathu.
Mozhigal ennai patri pesa,
Artham Aayiram uravanadhu.
Malargal Vasam Veesa,
Thendralum indru nindrathu.
Mayam saiyum ithu,
Mayakam thodarum endrum.
Njan yaru endru aruvira?
Alla Nan yenna vindru purivaya?
Kelvigalin ore badil than,
Nan.....yaru unaku puriyum
Epo Nee Yenai unarvayo.


Drops of some felt onto me,
A battle was waged.
Visions envisioned me,
Two hearts were misplaced.
Paintings described me,
Shyness held captive vanished.
Poems praised me,
Many verses were borne.
Languages read me,
Thousands meanings were formed.
Flowers spreading their gentle smell,
Stopped the wind in its track.
Magic it creates stays,
As does the dizziness that sets in.

Boondein kahi se giri ,
Shooru hua ek silsila.
Aankhon ne dekha ek jhalak,
Do Dil kahi kho gaye.
Tasveer kiya hamara nazakat,
Sharmana bhula diya.
Shayri kiya hamara tareef,
Hazaar dohe likha gaya.
Zubaane kiya hamara elaan,
Matlab har kahi chaane lagi.
Phoolon ki mahek,
Roki Hawa apne Dastoor mein.
Akir Hum kya hai?
Ya Hum kaun hai?
Jaane yahan sab,
Baas rahi ek jawab..
Doondo nahi
Baas andar ehsaas karo
